The AGC Las Vegas is neither pro-union nor anti-union; it is, however, pro-employer. Open shop contractors experiencing union difficulties can call upon the professional staff at the AGC to help. Any AGC member company may seek the AGC's assistance when having problems with picketing, salting or other union organizing efforts. On the other hand, members who have signed labor-management agreements negotiated by the AGC’s Labor Relations Committee on behalf of its signatory contractors or who have proxied with AGC Las Vegas, may participate in the labor management contract negotiations. As a multi-employer bargaining unit, the Las Vegas AGC negotiates and administers labor agreements with nearly every construction trade union in southern Nevada. Signatory contractor members of the AGC may also avail themselves of the professional labor relations services offered by the AGC. More information about AGC’s labor relations services is available by contacting Labor Relations Director or Labor Relations Consultant, at 702-796-9986.
