Government Affairs
This committee is responsible for developing support within the southern Nevada
construction industry for the political actions, initiatives and programs of the
chapter and the National AGC, while proactively representing the chapter and the
industry before state and local government bodies.

Permits & Inspections
This
committee partners with city and county government agencies to develop
standardized building
codes and reasonable zoning, permitting and inspection regulations.

Municipal Utilities
This committee maintains a liaison with state and local public works agencies to
ensure that the Nevada Revised Statutes and the implementation of regulations
pertaining to public works meet the needs of AGC's heavy, highway and utility
contractors.

Marketing
This committee promotes the association, its members and the construction
industry through media relations, advertising and community involvement. The committee also recruits new members and
encourages business between members. This committee promotes, plans, coordinates
and conducts the annual Legislative Golf Tournament and the Holiday Dinner
Dance/Silent Auction.

YCF/MET (Young Constructors Forum/Manpower Education & Training)
This committee is responsible for improving relations, training and visibility
for entry to mid level constructors. It improves the image of the construction
industry by assisting with the instruction and recruitment of the next
generation's workforce. This committee is also responsible for improving the
quantity and quality of the construction industry's available workforce,
developing and administering related programs and services and maintaining a
speaker's bureau.

Safety & Jobsite Security
This committee is responsible for encouraging, fostering and
developing a uniform safety program for the
chapter and its member companies, in an effort to reduce accidental death,
injury and financial loss.

Labor Relations
This committee, comprised of chapter labor agreement signatories, handles
organized labor issues and negotiations for its participating AGC members.
